Sisters of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity

SOLT Charism

The Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) serves in ecclesial family teams composed of each vocation - Priests, Consecrated Brothers and Sisters, and Laity - married, single and Consecrated Widows.  Each member brings the gift of him or herself and his or her vocation to the team.  The diversity of gifts allows the Society to reach peoples of deepest apostolic need.

The Society of Our Lady is a community of Diocesan Rite, currently seeking Pontifical Status in the Church.

"Behold the handmaid of the Lord.  Be it done to me according to your word." (Luke 1:38)

The religious sister is called to witness that a life of intimate communion with God is possible.  Her oneness with Him, in response to His calling, lifts up the people of God and gives hope in our time.  The sister, the Bride of Christ, gifts herself to Him completely through the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.  She seeks to live the life of charity, to esteem the goodness of her Beloved, which spills over into her relationships with others.

"The aim of religious life is to render praise and glory to the Most Holy Trinity and through your consecration to help humanity enter into the fullness of life in the Father, and in the Son and in the Holy Spirit.  In all your planning and in all your activities, try also to keep this aim before you.  There is no greater service you can give; there is no greater fullfillment you can receive." (Servant of God John Paul the Great)

"Though the mountains leave their place and the hills be shaken,

My love shall never leave you nor my covenant of peace be shaken,

says the Lord, who has mercy on you. " (Isaiah 54:10)
